The MARS ROVER model kit is an incredibly detailed engraved model, which is very fun and satisfying to put together. You start with 4 4-inch square steel sheets and finish them in a 3D model, simply use the easy-to-follow instructions included with the sheet to remove the pieces, bend the tabs and connect them at the attachment points. No glue or soldering required.

Mars Exploration Rover NASA's twin rovers, called Spirit and Opportunity, launched separately in 2003 and landed three weeks apart in January 2004. They made important discoveries about humid environments on ancient Mars that may have been favorable for sustaining microbial life. Although Spirit stopped communicating with Earth in March 2010, Opportunity continues its work on the Red Planet.
