The SNOWSPEEDER model kit is an incredibly detailed engraved model, which is very fun and satisfying to put together. You start with 4 4-inch square steel sheets and finish them in a 3D model, simply use the easy-to-follow instructions included with the sheet to remove the pieces, bend the tabs and connect them at the attachment points. No glue or soldering required.

While stationed on Hoth, the Rebel Alliance modified T-47 airspeeders into snowspeeders, fast flying means of transport to patrol and defend their hidden base. It took some work to prevent the crippling cold from permanently grounding their air force, but Rebel ingenuity overcame Hoth's relentless elements. The T-47 hovercraft is a small wedge-shaped craft with two forward-facing laser cannons. On its rear bow is a harpoon cannon equipped with a heavy-duty tow cable. The snowspeeder is a two-man craft, with a pilot and a rear-facing tail gunner.
